WR Josh Gordon back on indefinite suspension; Browns moving on

Josh Gordon, who was due to come off his four-game suspension Monday, remains on the Browns' reserve/suspended list pending further notice from Commissioner Roger Goodell, a league spokesman told cleveland.com.

Gordon left the team on Thursday and checked himself into inpatient rehab.

A league source told cleveland.com that he's seeking help for an alcohol problem.

Regardless, Hue Jackson made it clear Thursday the Browns are parting ways with the oft-suspended receiver, who's been banned for 31 of his last 36 games.

"What's best for our football team is that we move forward and move on,'' Jackson said. "He's not going to be with us and we wish him well, but we're moving forward. We're going to move on."

Fantasy Impact:

The story said the team will likely release Gordon at some point but it doesn't have to be immediately because he's not taking up a roster spot or getting paid. In terms of fantasy, it seems safe to say Gordon can be dropped in redraft leagues. He will need to turn his life around before being allowed back on the football field.
