Texans WR Andre Johnson hurts other hammy

Wide receiver Andre Johnson left the Texans’ Week 13 victory over the Atlanta Falcons late in the third quarter with a left hamstring injury. He did not return.

Johnson, who missed six games with a right hamstring injury before returning last week, pulled up lame on a deep pass from T.J. Yates and fell face-down to the field. He eventually stood up and hobbled to the sideline, then went to the locker room for further evaluation.

“Right now, it’s described to me as not being severe, but I don’t think you ever know about the hamstrings until the next day,” Texans coach Gary Kubiak said. “Let’s just see where we’re at tomorrow.”

Johnson said this injury felt “nowhere near” as bad as the hamstring injury he suffered in Week 4 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He doesn't know if he'll miss any time. He has an MRI scheduled for Monday morning.

Fantasy Impact:

While it may not be as serious, Johnson's status is certainly in doubt for next week. We'll be sure to keep you updated.
