Todd Bowles said WR Chris Godwin came out of last night's game fine and the plan is definitely to ramp up his usage in the next game.

Still, Godwin will be tough to trust, so perhaps the wait-and-see approach is the best one to take with Godwin. Godwin played on 35% of the snaps in Week 12, which was a loss to the Rams, and had just two catches for nine yards. Baker Mayfield is dealing with a shoulder injury and his status is up in the air for Week 13, so that further complicates things for fantasy owners as far as putting Godwin in your lineup.

Raiders HC Pete Carroll says that he believes RB Ashton Jeanty's late-game ankle injury is not severe.

When asked if there is a chance the injury would limit him in practice this week, he said "I haven't heard that it would yet. It sounds like there's a chance that he'll be ok," the post went on to say. While it sounds encouraging, owners will want to monitor the situation as the week goes on. If Jeanty can't go, Mostert and White would likely see work. The Raiders take on the Chargers in a later Sunday game in Week 13.

Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels is making progress in his return from a dislocated left elbow.

Daniels is reportedly unlikely to play against the Broncos in Week 13. That leaves Marcus Mariota in line to make his third straight start for the 3-8 club.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Daniels is set to return to practice this week, however, so it gives him a chance to play in Week 14. The team has gone 1-4 without Daniels, and while the playoffs don't seem likely, the team will probably be cautious when it comes to allowing Daniels to get back on the field.

Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud’s status hasn’t changed since last week.

Head coach DeMeco Ryans told reporters on Monday that Stroud remains in the concussion protocol. Stroud was injured in the team’s Week 9 loss to the Broncos and has missed the last three games.

The next update on Stroud’s progress will come with Wednesday’s practice. Stroud had returned to practice last week but the Texans played on Thursday and it wasn't enough time for Stroud to be ready. Stroud still has a chance to play in Week 13, and the story went on to say when Stroud is cleared he will get the start. Mills has started all three games when Stroud was out, and the Texans have won all three.

Bengals WR Tee Higgins (concussion), DE Trey Hendrickson (hip/pelvis), RB Tahj Brooks (concussion) will all be out vs. Baltimore, coach Zac Taylor said.

The Brooks injury is significant for fantasy because he was the team's RB2 behind Brown with Perine out of action. Perine's status is up in the air for Week 13, but if he's not back in action the Bengals would need a RB behind Brown. Brown would likely get a bulk of the work on a short week, and has performed better as of late in terms of fantasy.

Shedeur Sanders became the first Browns rookie quarterback to win his first NFL start since 1995 on Sunday and he’ll get a chance to make it two in a row in Week 13.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski announced on Monday that Sanders will start against the 49ers. It will be Sanders’ first home start. The story added that Gabriel has cleared protocol, but the team is going with Sanders.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow appears poised to return on Thanksgiving against the Ravens.

Head coach Zac Taylor said today that he anticipates Burrow playing on Thursday night, the story said. Burrow hasn’t played since suffering a toe injury in Week 2. He likely won't have Tee Higgins in the lineup due to a concussion, but Ja'Marr Chase returns from suspension.

The Vikings may be turning to Max Brosmer at quarterback in Week 13.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell announced on Monday that J.J. McCarthy is in the concussion protocol. O’Connell said that McCarthy reported having concussion symptoms on the flight home after Sunday’s loss to the Packers in Green Bay.

Brosmer will take the first-team reps while McCarthy is working his way through the protocol and will start against the Seahawks if McCarthy is not cleared for the game. It's typical once a player in is protocol, they will miss the follow week's game. The undrafted rookie is 5-of-8 for 42 yards in four appearances this season, but has never started an NFL game, the story pointed out. The Vikings have said to love Brosmer's skillset, however, he gets a tough test should he start in Week 13 against Seattle.

Todd Bowles said RB Bucky Irving is going to practice all week and if he's fine on Friday he will play on Sunday against the Cardinals.

Irving has logged limited time as of late but continues to miss games. Reports said his ankle has healed and it was his shoulder keeping him out. Other rumors have swirled about Irving's missed games going deeper than just football, but it looks like he at least has a chance to return in Week 13. The Bucs offense sputtered against the Rams and now QB Baker Mayfield looks to be a question mark as far as his status goes. White and Tucker have filled in for Irving along the way with both flashing fantasy value at times, but neither back did much on Sunday night so Irving's return should be a welcomed sight for both the Bucs and fantasy owners. It remains to be seen how much of the workload Irving gets, assuming he is back on the field this coming weekend.

The Rams’ already stellar passing game should have another target on Sunday against the Panthers.

Rams head coach Sean McVay told reporters today that wide receiver Tutu Atwell will practice this week and should be off injured reserve and on the active roster to play on Sunday.

McVay said Atwell, who hasn’t played since October 19 because of a hamstring injury, appears to be “ready to roll” this week, the story said. It went on to say he's only caught four passes this season, but he has big play ability to add to the offense. At best, he's the WR3 behind two target hogs in Nacua and Adams, and so Atwell is more of a boom or bust fantasy option.
