TE Rob Housler is perhaps the most obvious choice for a breakout season in Arizona, for a multitude of reasons. With only three proven receivers, Housler should be necessary. QB Carson Palmer is the best quarterback Housler will have played with in his short career. HC Bruce Arians believe tight ends are important, and Housler – given his physical stature – can give the Cards some matchup advantages (Arians said he saw Housler as a big receiver coming out of college.)
The downfall is Housler's blocking is "a work in progress" yet, so it could limit his time and thus his production. Tight end is once again a pretty deep position this year, especially when looking for a TE2. Housler ranks 17th on our list and likely won't even get drafted in typical leagues. So he should be there for the taking very late if you like him and if you want to carry an extra tight end.
