Saints QB Drew Brees (ankle) practiced fully Wednesday. Brees finished the game on Sunday, so this is not a big worry.
Jaguars QB Blaine Gabbert (glute) practiced fully Wednesday. He looks like he's going to start against the Colts.
Jets QB Mark Sanchez (back) practiced fully Wednesday. HC Rex Ryan said that the injury is “not a big deal.”
Bears RB Matt Forte (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. There were reports that Forte does not have a high ankle sprain, but we are assuming he is out for Week 3 until he starts practicing. Michael Bush is fully capable of carrying the load while Forte is out, so there's no reason to rush him back.
Chiefs RB Jamaal Charles (knee) practiced fully Wednesday. Charles had soreness in his knee, but the Chiefs may have been simply resting him in a game that got out of control early. The Saints are very bad against the run.
Rams RB Steven Jackson (groin) did not practice Wednesday. HC Jeff Fisher said after the game on Sunday that Jackson could have returned to action had his backup, Daryl Richardson, not been playing well. This indicates that Jackson should be able to go in Week 3. He told a St. Louis radio station that his MRI was clean.
Browns RB Trent Richardson (knee) practiced fully Wednesday. Richardson's participation level indicates that he should be good to go for Week 3.
Steelers RB Jonathan Dwyer (toe) did not practice Wednesday. Dwyer has turf toe but played through it in Week 2. We are expecting him to play against the Raiders on Sunday.
Jaguars RB Rashad Jennings (knee) did not practice Wednesday. The Jaguars are optimistic that he'll play, but this is not a great sign.
Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas (concussion) practiced fully Wednesday. Thomas has apparently been cleared for full contact. He should resume his role as the RB2 behind Reggie Bush.
Patriots RB Shane Vereen (foot) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Stevan Ridley has a stranglehold on the RB1 job, probably until he fumbles. We wouldn't worry about Vereen right now.
Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall (knee) practiced fully Wednesday. Mendenhall is inching closer to his return, taking part in contact drills for the first time.
Bengals RB Bernard Scott (hand) practiced fully Wednesday. Scott could eat into BenJarvus Green-Ellis's touches. That was the plan in preseason, anyway.
Jets RB John Conner (knee) did not practice Wednesday. The Jets could use Conner's blocking in the running game.
Rams RB Brit Miller (thigh) did not practice Wednesday.
Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) practiced fully Wednesday. Despite the rough preseason, Austin is out playing Dez Bryant by a considerable margin. He should have a nice day against the Buccaneers on Sunday.
Lions WR Calvin Johnson (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. Johnson often gets rest early in the week. This is probably nothing to worry about.
Falcons WRs Julio Jones (thigh) and Roddy White (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Jones and White were just getting some rest.
Redskins WR Pierre Garcon (foot) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Garcon is on a better track to play this week as he did not practice at all early last week. We will continue to monitor his progress.
Saints WR Marques Colston (foot) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Colston will likely be limited on Wednesdays with regularity this season. No major concerns here.
Eagles WR DeSean Jackson (hamstring) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Jackson should be fine. This is an improvement from last week.
Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (hip) did not practice Wednesday. At this point, Maclin is very iffy for Week 3 after aggravating his hip injury on Sunday. Jason Avant (wrist) practiced fully Wednesday. He could be a sneaky start if Maclin can't go.
Steelers WR Mike Wallace (groin) and Emmanuel Sanders (knee) did not practice Wednesday. They are probably just getting some rest, but this is something to monitor.
Browns WR Greg Little (back) practiced fully Wednesday. Little had a nice bounce back game against the Bengals on Sunday.
Colts WR Austin Collie (head) practiced fully Wednesday. At this point, Collie isn't much of a fantasy option until we actually see him produce in a game. He can, however, impact the value of Donnie Avery who has become a nice fantasy WR3 in Collie's absence.
Saints WR Devery Henderson (concussion) practiced fully Wednesday. The Saints have been missing the deep threat that Henderson brings, especially with Robert Meachem in San Diego.
Chiefs WR Dexter McCluster (shoulder) took limited practice reps Wednesday. This is a new injury and it might explain the drop in snaps from Week 1 (57) to Week 2 (32).
Cowboys TE Jason Witten (abdomen) practiced fully Wednesday. Witten seems to be rounding into form, catching four passes for 58 yards against the Seahawks on Sunday.
Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle) did not practice Wednesday. Hernandez will be out a while. The Patriots signed Kellen Winslow this week.
Steelers TE Heath Miller (abdomen) did not practice Wednesday. Miller says he's just sore. Assume he's playing unless he continues to miss practice.
Jets TE Dustin Keller (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday. Keller says he'll play in Week 3. We will see.
