Redskins QB Robert Griffin III (head) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Griffin reportedly took three-quarters of the snaps in practice and hasn't had any setbacks. We are assuming he will play in Week 6.

Patriots QB Tom Brady (right shoulder) took limited practice reps Wednesday. It's not uncommon for Brady to get some rest during the week.

Chiefs QB Matt Cassel (concussion) was ruled out for Week 6. Brady Quinn will get the start.

Vikings QB Christian Ponder (knee) took full practice reps again Thursday. Ponder is on track to play in Week 6.

Jets QB Mark Sanchez (back) took full practice reps again Thursday. Sanchez should be fine for Week 6.

Cardinals QB John Skelton (ankle) practiced fully Wednesday. Skelton says he could play if necessary, but the Cardinals are likely to stick with Kevin Kolb as long as he's winning.

49ers QB Alex Smith (right finger) practiced fully Wednesday. Smith is fine and has a pretty good matchup this week against the Giants.

Vikings RB Adrian Peterson (ankle) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. HC Leslie Frazier said that Peterson's ankle was “much better” on Thursday after twisting it in Week 5. He should be out there against the Redskins in Week 6.

Colts RB Donald Brown (knee) missed practice again Thursday. Brown is out for a few weeks after a knee scope. Vick Ballard will start in his place. He should be RB3/flex-worthy for the next three games. Delone Carter and Mewelde Moore will back him up.

Cardinals RB William Powell (head) practiced fully Wednesday. Powell will likely get the first shot at the starting gig, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Schefter went on to say there is a “buzz” about Powell within the organization. Starting RBs are hard to come by, but expectations should be tempered. The Cardinals have struggled to run the ball all year and that is unlikely to change with Powell toting the rock, though the Bills present a great matchup. LaRod Stephens-Howling will also be involved once he gets healthy. He took limited practice reps Wednesday and is an explosive third-down back.

Dolphins RB Reggie Bush (knee) was added to the injury report Thursday after taking limited practice reps. He was just getting a day of rest on Thursday and is expected to play in Week 6.

Texans RB Arian Foster (knee) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday. The upgrade indicates that he will be good to go for Week 6.

Raiders RB Darren McFadden (shoulder) practiced fully Wednesday. HC Dennis Allen is keeping the much-maligned zone blocking scheme in place, but said that they did make a few tweaks to hopefully improve the Raiders running game, which is currently last in the league after finishing in the top 7 in 2010 and 2011.

Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (back) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Seattle continues to monitor Lynch's practice reps early in the week. He should play against the Patriots.

Patriots RB Brandon Bolden (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Bolden is expected to back up Stevan Ridley.

Chiefs RB Peyton Hillis (ankle) missed practice again Thursday. It doesn't look like Hillis is going to play in Week 6. Shaun Draughn will continue to back up Jamaal Charles.

Chiefs RB Shaun Draughn (ankle) took limited practice reps again Thursday. He is expected to play in Week 6.

Giants RB Andre Brown (concussion) missed practice again Thursday. Brown is not expected to play this week. Look for David Wilson to back up Ahmad Bradshaw against the 49ers.

49ers RB Brandon Jacobs (knee) practiced fully Wednesday. Even with the practice, Jacobs is trending towards being inactive again in Week 6.

Texans RB Ben Tate (toe) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Tate reportedly got in a “good practice” and it appears he will be ready for Sunday night's game against the Packers.

Dolphins RB Daniel Thomas (concussion) missed practice again Thursday. Thomas will likely be out a while. Lamar Miller will back up Reggie Bush.

Patriots RB Shane Vereen (foot) took limited practice reps Wednesday.

Jets RB John Conner (hamstring) missed practice again Thursday.

Texans RB Justin Forsett (thigh) took full practice reps again Thursday.

Eagles RB Bryce Brown (shoulder) took full practice reps again Thursday.

Chiefs RB Cyrus Gray (illness) was added to the injury report Thursday after missing practice.

Broncos RB Chris Gronkowski (thigh) took full practice reps Thursday.

Eagles RB Stanley Havili (quadricep) took full practice reps again Thursday.

Raiders RB Taiwan Jones (shoulder) practiced fully Wednesday.

Rams RB Britt Miller (ankle) returned to full practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday.

Colts RB Mewelde Moore (ankle) took full practice reps again Thursday.

Redskins RB Evan Royster (knee) took full practice reps again Thursday. He should resume his role on passing downs.

Cardinals RB Anthony Sherman (knee) did not practice Wednesday.

Falcons RB Antone Smith (hamstring) missed practice again Thursday.

Vikings WR Percy Harvin (hamstring) was added to the injury report Thursday after taking limited practice reps. Downgrades are usually a bad sign, but we will monitor this tomorrow to see if his injury improves overnight. HC Leslie Frazier expressed no concern about Harvin's availability.

Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (foot, knee) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. The upgrade is a good sign, but Nicks is not out of the woods just yet. We will continue to monitor his progress. If he can't play, Domenik Hixon would likely get another start. Ramses Barden (concussion) took full practice reps again Thursday. Barden would fall to #4 on the depth chart if Nicks returns.

Rams WR Danny Amendola (shoulder) missed practice again Thursday. He's going to be out for a while. Brandon Gibson and Chris Givens have been #2 and #3 in snaps lately, but neither player is considered a slot receiver. Austin Pettis or Steve Smith may fill Amendola's role in the offense.

Bengals WR A.J. Green (knee) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday. He is expected to play, though the Browns secondary got a big boost with the return of Joe Haden from suspension.

Cowboys WR Miles Austin (hamstring) took full practice reps again Thursday. Austin is fully expected to play against the Ravens.

Packers WR Greg Jennings (groin) missed practice again Thursday. Jennings hasn't ruled himself out, but he is not expected to play in Week 6.

Texans WR Andre Johnson (groin) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday. The upgrade indicates that he will be good to go for Week 6.

Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas (hip) took limited practice reps Thursday. Thomas should be fine for Monday Night Football.

Patriots WR Wes Welker (ankle) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Welker is expected to play against the Seahawks.

Dolphins WR Brian Hartline (quadricep) took full practice reps again Thursday. He is expected to play in Week 6.

Raiders WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (concussion) practiced fully Wednesday. DHB is expected to play against the Falcons.

Jets WR Stephen Hill (hamstring) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Hill is expected to make his return this week, and he should help the Jets' anemic passing game.

Jets WR Jeremy Kerley (illness, finger) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday. He should be fine for Week 6.

Browns WRs Mohamed Massaquoi (hamstring), Travis Benjamin (hamstring) and Jordan Norwood (foot) missed practice again Thursday. Norwood was on crutches on Thursday, which is not a good sign. Consider all three players out for Week 6, which means Josh Gordon and Greg Little will continue to see heavy snaps.

Vikings WR Jerome Simpson (lower back, foot) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. HC Leslie Frazier was less confident about Simpson's availability after Thursday's practice then he was earlier in the week. The team wants to see how Simpson practices on Friday. If he can't play, look for Michael Jenkins and Devin Aromashodu to pick up extra snaps.

Eagles WR Jason Avant (wrist) took full practice reps again Thursday.

Chiefs WR Jonathan Baldwin (hamstring) missed practice Thursday after taking limited reps Wednesday. Baldwin is looking very iffy for Sunday. Dexter McCluster and/or Steve Breaston figure to pick up extra snaps if Baldwin can't play.

Falcons WR Kevin Cone (knee) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday.

Eagles WR Riley Cooper (collarbone) took full practice reps again Thursday.

Falcons WR D.J. Davis (knee) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday.

Patriots WR Julian Edelman (hand) did not practice Wednesday, but did practice on Thursday for the first time in a few weeks. He is not a fantasy option right now.

Jets WR Edmond Gates (shoulder) missed practice again Thursday. He will likely miss Week 6.

Texans WR Lestar Jean (knee) took limited practice reps again Thursday.

Broncos WR Matt Willis (not injury related) missed practice Thursday.

Chiefs WR Devon Wylie (hamstring) missed practice again Thursday.

Lions WR Titus Young (knee) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. The upgrade is a good sign for Young's availability this week.

Giants TE Martellus Bennett (knee) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Bennett said he "messed some s**t up" in his knee against the Browns, but hopes to play through it against the 49ers in Week 6. Don't expect the self-proclaimed "Black Unicorn" to be himself this week.

Packers TE Jermichael Finley (shoulder) missed practice again Thursday. Finley isn't expected to practice until Friday. He is iffy for Week 6. D.J. Williams (hamstring) was added to the injury report Thursday after missing practice. Williams would be the biggest beneficiary if Finley can't play, but he is gimpy as well. Tom Crabtree is the next guy up.

Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Hernandez is tentatively expected to play, but the Patriots play in the second round of games, so unless he gets in a full practice on Friday he may not be worth the risk.

Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (hip) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Gronkowski is expected to play against the Seahawks.

Jets TE Dustin Keller (hamstring) took limited practice reps again Thursday. He is expected to play against the Colts, and isn't a bad desperation start given the state of the Jets' receiving corps.

Raiders TE Brandon Myers (shoulder) practiced fully Wednesday. Myers should play against the Falcons.

Lions TE Brandon Pettigrew (knee) took limited practice reps again Thursday. He should be fine for Week 6.

Raiders TE David Ausberry (shoulder) practiced fully Wednesday.

Jets TE Jeff Cumberland (ribs) took full practice reps again Thursday. Cumberland's role will be diminished if Dustin Keller makes his return.

Cardinals TE Jim Dray (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday.

Raiders TE Richard Gordon (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.

Cardinals TE Todd Heap (knee) took limited practice reps Wednesday. Robert Housler will probably get another start.

Patriots TE Michael Hoomanawanui (concussion) did not practice Wednesday.

Falcons TE Michael Palmer (shoulder) missed practice again Thursday.

Browns TE Alexander Smith (head) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday.

Texans K Shayne Graham (right calf) took full practice reps again Thursday.

Raiders K Sebastian Janikowski (left groin) took limited practice reps Wednesday.
