Titans QB Jake Locker (left shoulder) missed practice again Thursday and has been ruled out for Week 5. Matt Hasselbeck will get the start.

Vikings QB Christian Ponder (knee) took limited practice reps again Thursday. According to HC Leslie Frazier, Ponder is doing “much better,” and is expected to play in Week 5.

Jets QB Mark Sanchez (back) took full practice reps Thursday.

Dolphins RB Reggie Bush (hip) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday. Bush is trending in the right direction and is a good start against the Bengals on Sunday.

Bears RB Matt Forte (ankle) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Forte expects to play against the Jaguars in Week 5.

Texans RB Arian Foster (hamstring) took full practice reps Thursday. Ben Tate is dealing with a toe injury, so Foster may see a bigger workload on Sunday.

Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch (rest) took limited practice reps Wednesday. The Seahawks are just managing their star running back.

Eagles RB LeSean McCoy (knee) took full practice reps again Thursday.

Steelers RB Rashard Mendenhall (knee) took full practice reps again Thursday. Though it's not clear who will start, Mendenhall expects to get significant playing time in Week 5.

Texans RB Ben Tate (toe) missed practice Thursday. This is not a great sign, but the team intends to test the toe on Saturday. If Tate is out, Justin Forsett would be the primary backup to Arian Foster, who would likely get a huge workload.

Patriots RB Brandon Bolden (knee) took limited practice reps again Thursday. He is expected to play in Week 5, though his role may not be as large as it was last week against the Bills.

Chiefs RB Peyton Hillis (ankle) missed practice again Thursday. Hillis is not expected to play in Week 5.

49ers RB Brandon Jacobs (knee) practiced fully Wednesday. He may vulture some goal line carries from Frank Gore.

Redskins RB Evan Royster (knee) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Royster is expected to be ready for Week 5.

Bengals RB Bernard Scott (ankle) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday. Scott should play against the Dolphins this week. His role will likely be limited as the team eases him back into action.

Patriots RB Shane Vereen (foot) took limited practice reps again Thursday.

Saints RB Travaris Cadet (shoulder) missed practice again Thursday.

Jets RB John Conner (hamstring) missed practice Thursday.

Colts RB Mewelde Moore (ankle) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice.

Falcons RB Lousaka Polite (hamstring) missed practice again Thursday.

Falcons RB Antone Smith (hamstring) took limited practice reps again Thursday.

Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (foot, knee) was ruled out for Week 5 and WR Ramses Barden (concussion) missed practice again Thursday. Whether or not Barden is out, Domenik Hixon will be a good start against the Browns, who are still missing Joe Haden (suspension). Hixon caught six passes for 115 yards against the Eagles in Week 4.

Titans WR Kenny Britt (ankle) missed practice again Thursday. Britt is not on track to play in Week 5. Kendall Wright and Nate Washington would be startable in his absence.

Redskins WR Pierre Garcon (foot) took full practice reps again Thursday. Garcon described the injury as a “process” but that it is “coming along.” He is expected to play but may not be at full capacity just yet.

Packers WR Greg Jennings (groin) was ruled out for Week 5. Look for James Jones and Randall Cobb to pick up the extra snaps with Jennings sidelined. Jones is the better start, but he is something of a boom or bust play. Jennings missed Week 2 and most of Week 4. Jones had two catches for -1 yards in Week 2 and five catches for 56 yards and two touchdowns in Week 4.

Texans WR Andre Johnson (groin) took limited practice reps Thursday. He is expected to play in Week 5.

Falcons WR Julio Jones (hand) took full practice reps again Thursday. Jones said that he's “fine” so hopefully the hand issue is behind him. He also said that the Panthers were doubling both he and TE Tony Gonzalez, which was the reason for the quiet game.

Jets WR Jeremy Kerley (finger) took full practice reps Thursday. Kerley is in line to get the start with Stephen Hill sidelined with a hamstring injury.

Saints WR Lance Moore (hamstring) missed practice again Thursday. We are now officially concerned about Moore's availability for Week 5. Devery Henderson and Joe Morgan figure to pick up extra snaps if Moore can't play.

Ravens WR Torrey Smith (ankle) took full practice reps again Thursday. Smith is expected to play in Week 5. Chiefs CB Brandon Flowers (heel) returned to practice on Thursday, but was reportedly not moving well. This bodes well for Smith.

Eagles WR Jason Avant (wrist) was added to the injury report Thursday after taking full practice reps.

Chiefs WR Jonathan Baldwin (hamstring) returned to full practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday. This is a good sign for his availability on Sunday.

Redskins WR Brandon Banks (hip) took limited practice reps again Thursday.

Browns WR Travis Benjamin (hamstring) missed practice again Thursday. If Benjamin can't play, Josh Gordon would likely see extra snaps, though Josh Cribbs would also be in the mix.

Bears WR Earl Bennett (hand) took limited practice reps again Thursday.

Eagles WR Riley Cooper (collarbone) took full practice reps again Thursday.

Browns WR Josh Cribbs (head) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday.

Patriots WR Julian Edelman (hand) missed practice again Thursday. Edelman looks like he will miss another game.

Jets WR Stephen Hill (hamstring) missed practice Thursday. This does not bode well for his availability on Sunday. Jeremy Kerley and Chaz Schilens are likely to start for the Jets in Week 5.

Texans WR Lestar Jean (knee) missed practice Thursday.

Texans TE Owen Daniels (thigh) took limited practice reps Thursday. The Texans don't play until Monday night, but we will continue to monitor his progress throughout the week.

Colts TE Coby Fleener (head) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday. It appears that Fleener is on track to play in Week 5.

Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (hip) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Gronkowski is expected to play in Week 5.

Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Hernandez is very likely to sit out another week, according to the NFL Network's Albert Breer.

Jets TE Jeff Cumberland (ribs) took full practice reps Thursday.

Patriots TE Michael Hoomanawanui (concussion) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice.

Jets TE Dustin Keller (hamstring) missed practice Thursday. Keller looks like a long shot to make his return in Week 5. Jeff Cumberland will get another start.
