Lions QB Matthew Stafford (hip) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Stafford is back on track to start in Week 4.
Patriots QB Tom Brady (right shoulder) was removed from the injury report Thursday after taking limited practice reps Wednesday. Brady is good to go for Week 4.
Vikings QB Christian Ponder (neck) was added to the injury report Thursday after taking limited practice reps. Midweek downgrades are generally worrisome, but it sounds as if Ponder is still expected to start in Week 4. We will see how he fares on Friday.
Bears RB Matt Forte (ankle) took limited practice reps Thursday. According to a couple of Bears beat writers, Forte is now expected to play on Monday night. This obviously puts a dent in the value of Michael Bush. We would like to see Forte play and be productive before recommending that owners wait and run the risk of starting him on Monday night.
Bills RB Fred Jackson (knee) took limited practice reps again Thursday. HC Chan Gailey said that barring a setback, Jackson will play against the Patriots in Week 4. C.J. Spiller (shoulder) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Jackson appears to have the better chance to play.
Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw (neck) took full practice reps again Thursday. Bradshaw appears to have put his scary neck injury behind him. Look for Andre Brown to eat into his touches more than David Wilson did prior to Bradshaw's injury. OC Kevin Gilbride said that the team may take more of a “hot hand” approach with Bradshaw and Brown.
Dolphins RB Reggie Bush (knee) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Bush did some light running and beat writer Ben Volin says he has "little doubt" that Bush will play in Week 4.
Rams RB Steven Jackson (groin) missed practice again Thursday. Jackson played Week 3 without practicing, and emerged from the game without re-injuring his groin, so he's expected to play in Week 4. If he can't play, Daryl Richardson would get the call.
Lions RB Mikel Leshoure (groin) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Leshoure should be ready to go for Week 4, but we will monitor his progress in Friday's practice.
Raiders RB Darren McFadden (shoulder) took limited practice reps Wednesday. McFadden is expected to play in Week 4.
Broncos RB Willis McGahee (ribs) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday. McGahee apparently felt good after Wednesday's practice and is on track to play in Week 4 in a great matchup.
Panthers RB Jonathan Stewart (toe) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Stewart says he is still experiencing pain in his toe, but HC Ron Rivera is optimistic that he'll play in Week 4.
Chiefs RB Peyton Hillis (ankle) missed practice again Thursday. Hillis was still in his walking boot on Wednesday and is not looking very good for Week 4. Look for Shaun Draughn to serve as the primary backup to Jamaal Charles.
Jaguars RB Rashad Jennings (knee) took full practice reps again Thursday. It looks like Jennings will play against the Bengals, but he's only likely to see a few carries behind Maurice Jones-Drew.
Redskins RB Evan Royster (knee) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Royster will play mostly on passing downs if he's able to go in Week 4. Remember, Roy Helu (toe) is done for the season.
Bengals RB Bernard Scott (ankle) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Scott already has a new injury after missing the first two games with a hand injury. Not good.
Packers RB James Starks (toe) took full practice reps again Thursday. Starks is not a threat to Cedric Benson at this point.
Cardinals RB Ryan Williams (knee) practiced fully Wednesday. LaRod Stephens-Howling (hip) did not practice Wednesday. With Beanie Wells out for a while, Ryan Williams will carry the load and William Powell will serve as his backup if Stephens-Howling can't play.
Patriots RB Shane Vereen (foot) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Until we see Vereen active and producing, we're not too worried about his eating into Stevan Ridley's snaps. At this point, Danny Woodhead seems to be more of a threat.
Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe (groin) was added to the injury report Thursday after taking limited practice reps. Midweek downgrades are never a good sign, but this is no reason to panic just yet. Let's see how Bowe fares in Friday's practice.
Titans WR Kenny Britt (ankle) missed practice again Thursday. HC Mike Munchak is hoping that Britt can play in Week 4, but the two missed practices aren't helping his cause. Nate Washington and Kendall Wright would get a bump if Britt can't play.
Redskins WR Pierre Garcon (foot) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Garcon was limited in practice leading up to Week 3, and didn't play, so we would like to see him get in a full practice before feeling good about his prospects of playing in Week 4.
Packers WR Greg Jennings (groin) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Jennings is expected to play, but clearly he's not 100%.
Lions WR Calvin Johnson (ankle) took full practice reps Thursday after being limited Wednesday. This is a typical practice schedule for Megatron.
Falcons WR Julio Jones (hand) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Jones finished the game on Sunday and is not in danger of missing Week 4 area it
Eagles WR Jeremy Maclin (hip) took full practice reps again Thursday. Maclin says he's back to full strength, we'd like to see it on the field before recommending him as a WR2.
Giants WR Hakeem Nicks (foot) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. This is normal for Nicks, who has to manage the pain in his foot. He has a ton of talent, but the matchup this week isn't great. Consider him a WR2.
Lions WR Titus Young (knee) returned to full practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday. Young should be good to go for Week 4.
Patriots WR Julian Edelman (hand) missed practice again Thursday. Edelman was supposed to be evaluated on Wednesday, so this is not a very good sign. We do not expect him to play and Week 4, which means that Deion Branch could see extra snaps.
Raiders WR Darrius Heyward-Bey (concussion, neck) did not practice Wednesday. There is no timetable for DHB at this time. Derek Hagan and Rod Streater should see increased snaps. Streater (eye) took limited practice reps Wednesday.
Jaguars WR Laurent Robinson (concussion) missed practice again Thursday. Robinson has been cleared for activity, but not for contact, so he is looking doubtful for Week 4.
Redskins WR Brandon Banks (hip) was added to the injury report Thursday after taking limited practice reps.
Chiefs WR Steve Breaston (knee) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice.
Jets WR Stephen Hill (hamstring) missed practice again Thursday. Hill is not expected to play in Week 4.
Giants WR Domenik Hixon (concussion) took full practice reps again Thursday. Hixon is back but he has probably been passed on the depth chart by Ramses Barden.
Eagles WR Damaris Johnson (foot) was added to the injury report Thursday after taking full practice reps.
Titans TE Jared Cook (shoulder) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. This is an upgrade, and HC Mike Munchak seems optimistic about Cook's availability for Week 4.
Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle) missed practice again Thursday. ESPN's Adam Schefter said that it appears that Hernandez is “healing quicker than expected.” If he's available on the waiver wire, it's time to pick him up.
Vikings TE Kyle Rudolph (quadricep) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. This is an upgrade, so we'll see how he does in Friday's practice.
Lions TE Tony Scheffler (calf) returned to limited practice reps Thursday after missing Wednesday practice. Scheffler looks like he may make his return against the Vikings in Week 4.
Jets TE Dustin Keller (hamstring) took limited practice reps again Thursday. Keller is expected to play in Week 4.
Cardinals TE Todd Heap (knee) did not practice Wednesday. Rob Housler saw twice as many snaps with Heap sidelined in Week 3 as he did in Week 2. This only resulted in one extra target, but the increased snaps will be there if Heap can't play.
