Source: No swine flu in Miami

Miami Dolphins defensive backs Sean Smith and Jason Allen don't have swine flu, according to a league source who contradicted published reports with contrary information.

Per our source, rumors spread rapidly throughout the team and South Florida media that the two players had been stricken by swine flu primarily due to teammates joking around about what was ailing Smith and Allen.

However, Dolphins team spokesman Harvey Greene told the National Football Post that the team is currently awaiting test results to get an accurate prognosis. And the team isn't identifying which players are ill due to privacy issues.

"Two players are sick,' Greene said in a telephone interview. "They've undergone tests. We don't have the results of the test yet, but when we do get them, it is personal health information that will not be released publicly."
