Seattle CB Marcus Trufant Says He's Healthy

Tacoma News Tribune - [Full Article]

After a rough 2009 season where he dealt with back issues off the field and struggled on the field, Seattle cornerback Marcus Trufant says he's 100 percent healthy. And he's eager to make amends.

"I feel like I’ve got a lot to prove,” Trufant said. "And I want to come out, and I want to do better for my team. I felt like I not only let myself down, but I let my team down by coming back and not playing at the level that I know I can play at. So I’m just here to do the best for my team, and to help the team out as best as possible."

Fantasy Impact:

If Trufant can play like he did back in 2007, when he made the Pro Bowl, Seattle's secondary will show improvement, especially with first round pick Earl Thomas now at safety. An improved secondary won't stop the Seahawks from being undrafted in most leagues, but none of their division rivals have proven stability at quarterback. That means the Seahawks could be worth watching on the waiver wire if you need a defense during the bye weeks.
