Ronnie Brown participated in all the running back drills at Friday’s first practice of mini-camp, afterward pronouncing himself “about 80-something” percent healthy.
Brown, who underwent Lisfranc foot surgery after being lost for the season in last year’s Oct. 15 game against Tampa Bay, said his rehab has been a “steady progression” since the offseason workout program began in early March.
Having Brown at 80% at this time of the year is perfect. With the Dolphins expecting to open up the passing game, so should the running lanes. Brown is a top 20 RB and should be drafted early (barring any setback).
