With reports of Redskins head coach Jay Gruden being at odds with his front office and owner over the future of quarterback Robert Griffin III, a new story from The Washington Post says the rookie coach could be fired over the disagreement.

This is what columnist Jason Reid wrote on Saturday:
"Although it’s unknown whether Snyder and Allen eventually will agree to trade Griffin, what has become clear from recent conversations with Redskins officials is that Gruden believes he needs a clean break from Griffin to focus on fixing Washington’s 3-9 mess. And if Snyder and Allen commit to Griffin as the starter in 2015, Gruden could be “one and done,” a team official said, alluding to Gruden possibly being fired despite four years remaining on his guaranteed five-year contract."

Fantasy Impact:

The Redskins have four games left, beginning with the St. Louis Rams on Sunday. If the Redskins and Gruden are as far apart in their plans for RG3 as Reid suggests, it could be a very important stretch for Gruden's career in Washington, the story points out.
