Jay Glazer is reporting that the Vikings and Patriots have been working on a trade that sends Randy Moss to the Vikings and are very close. But the deal can't be done until Vikings and Moss work out a new contract, which they are working on.
Initially, this comes as a shocker. As far as fantasy value is concerned, Moss might actually see an uptick if he and Brett Favre can get a connection going. Obviously this would be a big plus for Brett Favre.
On the Patriots side of the ball, Brandon Tate and Aaron Hernandez will be seeing more looks from Tom Brady. The offensive side of the ball was getting crowded, with Brady having a luxury of quality young weapons, which coupled with Moss's expiring contract looks like the reason for the willingness to part ways.
