RB Williams doutbful for Panthers

Panthers leading rusher Deangelo Williams didn't practice for the third straight day and is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the New York Giants.

Williams suffered a left ankle injury near the end of the first quarter of last week's win over Minnesota.

Also doubtful after missing a third straight day of work is running back Tyrell Sutton (calf).

If neither can go Sunday, the Panthers are expected to start Jonathan Stewart and to have rookie Mike Goodson as the backup.

Stewart is listed on the injury report as questionable due to his sore Achilles, but he fully participated in today's practice.

Also questionable with full participation today: quarterback Matt Moore (shoulder) and cornerback Richard Marshall (ankle).
