Ravens fire OC Marc Trestman, promote Marty Mornhinweg

After another disappointing loss, and another poor offensive performance, the Baltimore Ravens are making a move at offensive coordinator.

Marc Trestman will be fired, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source informed of the team's plans, and quarterbacks coach Marty Mornhinweg is set to take his place.

Fantasy Impact:

Mornhinweg has 15 years of experience as either a head coach or an offensive coordinator and has a pretty good track record to show for it. His teams had an average ranking of 11.1 in total yards and 14.6 in points. His offenses tilted toward the pass, averaging an 11.3 ranking in pass attempts against a 17.5 average ranking in rush attempts. Trestman's Ravens currently sit 1st in pass attempts and 17th in rush attempts, so there's a good chance that Mornhinweg calls a more balanced game. This would seem to favor the running backs (Terrance West, Kenneth Dixon) more than the receivers and quarterback, but an overall increase in efficiency and scoring would probably help everyone. The Ravens are currently 19th in points scored, so there is definitely room to grow.
