RB Rashard Mendenhall (knee) didn't have any setbacks in his first game of the year.
Much like Adrian Peterson, Mendy was thrown right into duty and carried the load. He had 14 carries to Isaac Redman's 13, but Mendenhall collected 81 yards and a TD and was much more productive. He also collected 2 passes for 20 yards. It was the shot in the arm the Steelers running game needed. Expect Mendy to be a solid starter going forward and for his workload to increase.
