Rapoport: Reggie Bush tore ACL

San Francisco 49ers running back Reggie Bush suffered a knee injury early in the first half of a 27-6 loss to the Rams. Bush was hurt on a punt return after being pushed out of bounds and slipping on the concrete surface around the field at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis.

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported that Bush is believed to have suffered a torn ACL, per sources informed of the injury. He'll undergo an MRI to confirm the injury.

Bush is the second player to slip on the concrete in St. Louis and slam into the barrier separating the fans from the field. Last week, Browns quarterback Josh McCown skidded on the slick surface in his cleats and hit his shoulder.

Fantasy Impact:

The 49ers backfield is disintegrating. Carlos Hyde was out Sunday with a foot injury that could linger. With Bush now out for the duration of the season, rookie Mike Davis is the next back in line. Sunday, Davis rushed for just four yards on 10 carries.
