Raiders tight end Zach Miller will undergo testing Friday to determine whether he is fit to play against Denver after having two concussions since Oct. 4.

Miller is the Raiders’ leading receiver over the last three seasons with 150 receptions for 1,879 yards and six touchdowns in 42 starts. He’s never missed a game due to injury. Cable wouldn’t say whether Tony Stewart or rookie Brandon Myers would start if Miller can’t play.

The Raiders began practice at something much closer to full strength Monday, although defensive tackle Tommy Kelly was not present.

Kelly was not listed as injured or ill during last week’s bye week practice sessions. The Raiders signed defensive tackle William Joseph Monday after flying him in last Friday.

Those who were on the field and practicing following warmups and drills included running back Darren McFadden (knee), right tackle Cornell Green (calf), left guard Robert Gallery (leg) and tight end Tony Stewart (chest).

Defensive end Greg Ellis, who underwent arthroscopic knee surgery last week, emerged from the locker room when warmups were underway and was walking with no sign of a limp.

Coach Cable expects that most of the Raiders will be out of sick bay when they face the Chiefs after the bye. Robert Gallery, Chaz Schilens, Darren McFadden, and Nick Miller should all be back. Jon Alston had a neck sprain and a minor concussion, so the Raiders are going to play it safe with him, and Ricky Brown is expected to still be out. Greg Ellis is going to have his knee scoped, so Cable won't know where he is at until next week. Tony Stewart, Chris Johnson, and Gerard Warren are day to day with minor ailments.
