Wilson was pulled down awkwardly while being sacked by San Francisco's Eli Harold with 10 minutes to go in the third quarter. Harold was flagged for a horse collar tackle on the play as he fell on Wilson's lower leg. Wilson stayed down for a few moments before hoping up and limping around. He missed one play on that series - the first missed play of his career due to injury - but returned to throw one more pass, a 10-yard completion to Doug Baldwin.
Wilson was on the Seattle bench for its next offensive possession having a brace put on his left knee after a San Francisco turnover led to a quick change of possession. Trevone Boykin took over and Steven Hauschka's third field goal gave Seattle a 30-3 lead.
The knee injury comes on top of Wilson playing the last two weeks after suffering a sprained right ankle in the opener against Miami. Wilson was said to have more mobility coming into this week with the ankle, but the knee injury at least puts in question his status for the Seahawks next game.

Ryan Longwell will kick on Sunday.
Ryan Longwell, a 15-year NFL veteran who has not been in uniform this season, will sign with the Seattle Seahawks following a tryout Tuesday during which he outperformed competition from three other kickers, including Neil Rackers, according to sources.
The Seahawks signed Longwell for Sunday's divisional playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons because regular kicker Steven Hauschka suffered a calf injury against the Washington Redskins and his availability is in jeopardy.
The Seahawks will monitor Hauschka's performance in practice as well as the improvement on his calf before deciding whether he or Longwell is active Sunday.

Seattle coach Pete Carroll said that placekicker Steven Hauschka suffered a calf injury during the game that limited him to just field goal attempts, with punter Jon Ryan taking over kickoff duties.
“You could see him limping out there,” Carroll said. “But he made good kicks out there when we needed him.”

If you were counting on Prater, it's time to find someone else.
"We went ahead and made that move today," Smith said.
"This is year nine for me and I still try to go out there just like I did when I was a rookie," Bryant said. "Do good today so I can come back tomorrow."
Hauschka and Bryant missed field goals in the exhibition season opener against Kansas City. Hauschka missed a 53-yarder and Bryant missed a 50-yarder, but it had plenty of distance, but sailed wide right.
"I crushed it," Bryant said. "I thought I hit it pretty well. It was one of those deals where it made a, for some reason, a goofy right turn on me and it straightened out again. I hit maybe one of those every 100 balls. It was not a normal ball flight."
Bryant was signed on Dec. 1 after Jason Elam was released.
Bryant probably won't be a fantasy star, but given Atlanta's decent offense, he could be useful to fantasy teams.
