The former Ohio State star quarterback was released by Seattle on Friday, FOX Sports 1 NFL Insider Mike Garafolo and other media report.
Pryor, who was chosen in the third round in the 2011 supplemental draft by the Raiders, threw for 1,798 yards, seven touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 11 games last year with Oakland. The Raiders traded Pryor to the Seahawks in the offseason for a seventh-round pick in last May's draft.

Raiders quarterback Matt Schaub missed a second straight day of practice on Monday because of a sore elbow, but coach Dennis Allen insists that the team is not planning a reprise of last year when Matt Flynn’s elbow trouble led to Terrelle Pryor making a late leap up the depth chart.
“I don’t look at those two situations as the same,” Allen said, via Jerry McDonald of the Bay Area News Group, when asked about the similarity to the way things played out at quarterback last season.
Allen also said that Schaub remains on pace to start the season opener against the Jets despite his elbow injury, which Allen said is not a major concern for him, and absence from practices that it appears he needs based on his preseason performances.

Presumptive Raiders starting quarterback Matt Schaub sat out practice Sunday with a sore elbow, a scene eerily similar to a situation a year ago that led to the ascension of Terrelle Pryor as the starting quarterback at the expense of Matt Flynn.
“He came in yesterday afternoon with a little soreness in his elbow,’’ Raiders coach Dennis Allen said. “We’ll see where he’s at tomorrow and kind of take that day by day.’’

Pryor seemed more erratic — a few really good plays but also some not-so-good.
Jackson was dependable. That may be Seattle’s choice at that spot and whether they want to keep two or three QBs — the consistency and dependability of Jackson versus the upside of Pryor. I think the preseason games will tell a lot there.

This year the Raiders are considering using running back Darren McFadden as the point man in the read option. McFadden filled the role at times at the University of Arkansas, and he ran some Wildcat early in his career with Oakland. The possibility of taking snaps directly from center excites him.
“I always tell people I really was supposed to be a quarterback, I just ended up being a running back,” McFadden said. “It’s always fun to me, being able to get back there behind center. It takes me back to my old roots. The first position I ever played was quarterback. It was my first love.”

According to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports, teams have put “feelers” out regarding Pryor to gauge the trade market value for an athletic, albeit inconsistent quarterback who wants out of Oakland.

“It’s tough when a quarterback is going through a learning process,” Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said. “As the losses mount up, it gets frustrating. It’s frustrating for everybody.”
McGloin threw two interceptions to Chiefs safety Eric Berry, the first of which was returned 47 yards for a touchdown. He threw two more in the fourth quarter, on successive series, the last of which got him benched.
Terrelle Pryor filled in at different times – once near the goal line, again in the third quarter and after McGloin’s fourth pick – as a planned change of pace. Pryor wasn’t much better, and threw an interception in four attempts. He competed one pass for 12 yards and had 19 rushing yards on three carries.
Despite being pulled, Allen said McGloin start again next week against the San Diego Chargers. Odds are great he’ll also start the season finale against Denver, too. He's a QB2 option as long as INTs don't count against you. He should put up some garbage numbers, most likely trying to bring the Raiders from behind.

He also had a package of plays the Raiders could have used, but HC Dennis Allen felt it better to give him another week of rest -- hence the use of Marcel Reece as the wildcat quarterback instead of Pryor.
Something to watch for Thursday against the Cowboys. Pryor won't be a starting fantasy option, but if you're playing McGloin, it could certainly take away from his production.

Raiders QB Terrelle Pryor (knee, questionable) took limited practice reps all week and is questionable for Week 12. Matt McGloin will start against the Titans. He tossed three touchdowns last week against the Texans but isn't a trustworthy start just yet. Pryor may be active as McGloin's backup in Week 12.
