Cowboys TE Jason Witten is not expected to play. John Phillips will likely get the start. Miles Austin and Dez Bryant are probable after taking full practice reps this week, which is good news for QB Tony Romo. For the Giants, Hakeem Nicks is questionable after taking limited reps all week, but is expected to play. Ahmad Bradshaw is probable and has been practicing fully.
Cowboys tight end Jason Witten is now doubtful to play with the lacerated spleen injury. Witten visited the doctor Tuesday morning for a scheduled checkup. He is still expected to make the trip to New York.
Phillips, a sixth-round pick who contributed as a rookie last season, is out for the season.
Phillips, who underwent the test Monday morning, believes he injured the knee Sunday night when he landed after catching a back-shoulder throw from Jon Kitna. It was the second of four receptions for Phillips, who left the game after he collapsed while battling with Cincinnati Bengals defensive end Frostee Rucker as he tried to release into a pass route.
He will get an MRI on Monday.
"I'm going to stay positive and wait for [Monday] and see what the doctors get confirmed," Phillips said. "Regardless of what they say something's got to be confirmed on a screen so until they show it to me, I'm going to stay positive."
Phillips had four catches for 60 yards and two springing blocks in the first half before suffering the injury. Martellus Bennett did not play Sunday with an ankle injury and Kevin Brock sprained his left ankle, leaving Scott Sicko as the only healthy tight end Sunday.

Wade Phillips just announced tight end Martellus Bennett will not play Sunday against San Diego.
Bennett is suffering from a concussion that occurred against the New York Giants. He has not practiced this week.
Safety Ken Hamlin was also ruled out with his high right ankle sprain.
Bennett did not report any problems during the loss against the Giants, but he's since complained of headaches, fogginess and that "his eyes were hurting," coach Wade Phillips said.
Bennett has seen a specialist and continues to be monitored.
In his second season, Bennett is sixth on the team with 15 catches for 159 yards. Dallas uses two tight ends on most plays.
If he misses the game, rookie John Phillips likely would handle most of Bennett's usual workload.
