Browns beat writer Tony Grossi believes there is a "zero chance" that RB Trent Richardson plays this week.
Montario Hardesty and Chris Ogbonnaya (and perhaps Brandon Jackson) will split the RB workload with Richardson out.

Cleveland RB Trent Richardson as the primary running back and Chris Ogbonnaya in certain passing situations Sunday. Ogbonnaya was inactive Week 1.
Montario Hardesty was active but didn’t get an offensive snap for the second straight week. Brandon Jackson was inactive after serving as the third-down back in the opener.
“Ogbonnaya is a very dependable guy,” Shurmur said. “He carries the ball well. There were some pickups on protection that were good. Not to say the other backs can’t do that, but that’s how we used him yesterday.

Browns RB Brandon Jackson is healthy and has established himself as the No. 2 back. He is solid in blocking, catching passes and doing what the coaches expect. In 2010, he rushed for 703 yards and caught 43 passes for the Packers. He's only 26, so Jackson fits with the younger team the Browns are building.
There will be a major battle between Montario Hardesty and Chris Ogbonnaya for the third back. This is the healthiest and best that the Browns have seen Hardesty. But the 2010 second-rounder has been hurt in the last two training camps once full contact began. Hardesty gained 266 yards, but averaged only 3.0 per carry last season.

Browns RB Trent Richardson is a lock to start and become a workhorse, but who will be his primary backup? The Browns hope Montario Hardesty can finally stay healthy and prove himself worthy of a second-round pick, but it will be an uphill battle considering his medical history, which includes a torn ACL and a torn calf muscle in the past two years. Brandon Jackson, who has returned to action after missing all of last season with an injured toe, is viewed as an ideal third-down back, and he has what it takes to challenge Hardesty for playing time. Chris Ogbonnaya will fight for a roster spot and could benefit if either Hardesty or Jackson suffer setbacks on the comeback trail.
