Packers Tight end Tory Humphrey broke a forearm in a collision in the morning practice and is scheduled to have surgery Friday. According to HC McCarthy, team physician Dr. Patrick McKenzie said he wouldn’t know until after surgery whether the injury will end Humphrey’s season. Given Humphrey’s lengthy injury history and tenuous hold on a roster spot, however, the odds seem strong he’s seen the field for the final time this year — and perhaps as a Packer.
Head Coach Mike McCarthy said it was too early to tell if the injury would end Humphrey's season.
Last year, Humphrey had 11 catches for 162 yards, playing in all 16 games for Green Bay.
