Saints Jimmy Graham to get MRI on back
Monday, December 12, 2011, 1:55pm
An intense flare-up of back spasms during pregame warmups nearly kept Saints tight end Jimmy Graham out of the lineup Sunday -- sending Saints fans and fantasy football players alike into a frenzy before kickoff. Ultimately, though, Graham fought through the pain and caught five passes for 55 yards. He almost added a 4-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter, but officials ruled that his toe tickled the out-of-bounds grass.
Graham says he expects to be fine and play through the pain, and considering his numbers were better than a lot of other TE options this week, he's worth keeping in your lineup if he in fact does play. However, realize the risks that he could be injured at any point. John Gilmore and rookie Michael Higgins are behind Graham on the depth chart with Dave Thomas on IR.

A few injured Buccaneers players returned to practice Wednesday, including wide receiver Michael Clayton (knee) and tight end John Gilmore (head).
In addition to Clayton and Gilmore, Bucs WR Antonio Bryant (groin), running back Cadillac Williams (team decision), tight end Kellen Winslow (knee) and safety Tanard Jackson (knee) were limited. Gilmore still is listed on the injury report, but with an illness.
Winslow and Bryant are Tampa Bay's leading receivers with 68 and 32 receptions, respectively. The Bucs are hoping they can play since the team had to place rookie WR Sammie Stroughter (foot), who had 32 catches for 533 yards and one score, on injured reserve earlier this week.

Bucs: Kyle Moore didn't practice, Bryant limited
Wednesday, September 16, 2009, 8:59pm
While the injury to center Jeff Faine (triceps strain) is the most severe, a few other Bucs are a little banged up and missed practice today.
Bucs coach Raheem Morris said DE/DT Kyle Moore (groin) didn't practice and neither did CB E.J. Biggers (shoulder). WR Antonio Bryant (knee) and TE John Gilmore (ankle) were both limited.
