After visiting the Raiders and 49ers, TE Anthony Becht has decided to re-sign with the Çardinals on a 1-yr deal for $950,000.

RB Beanie Chris Wells was back at practice. But he never got a rep as the coaches want to work him back slowly from his sprained ankle. Wells was smiling afterward but clearly disappointed. I would guess they will ramp up his work as the week goes on. TE Anthony Becht (hamstring) is back too.

Cardinals injury update: WR Early Doucet (left shoulder sprain), RB Beanie Wells (sprained ankle), DT Keilen Dykes (quadriceps strain) and LT Elliot Vallejo (kneecap) did not practice. TE Anthony Becht (hamstring) was limited, but won't play against the Steelers. Neither will Doucet, Dykes and Vallejo, according to Whisenhunt.

chips removed from his elbow; Klopfenstein had some lose material
removed from his knee.

Arizona Republic: The Cardinals agreed to terms with veteran tight
end Anthony Becht and three others to one-year contracts on
Thursday. Terms of the deals were not disclosed. The 31-year-old
Becht caught only six passes for 39 yards in 16 games (11 starts)
for St. Louis last season.
