Michael Vick is one week away from returning to football, and he's starting to resemble the guy who went to three Pro Bowls for the Falcons.
"It just feels good to be out there, getting my legs back under me, keeping my mind fresh on football and the offense," Vick told a handful of writers after his second practice since the Eagles removed him from the exempt list. "I'm just happy I'm football player again. This is a great feeling for me."
Vick was suspended by the NFL for the first two games of the regular season - the opener vs. the Panthers and a home game against the New Orleans Saints at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. He'll be eligible to play against the Kansas City Chiefs a week from Sunday.
