WR Mario Manningham insisted on Wednesday that his ailing knee was "good" and said he thought he might be able to play on Sunday against the Cowboys.
On Thursday, he did his best to prove that. Just before the media portion of practice ended, Manningham lined up at wideout, dashed upfield, exploded out of a cut and caught a pass from Eli Manning, one of his most explosive practice moments in recent weeks. Of course, there was no defense, and there's no telling exactly how Manningham felt, but he looked confident and explosive.
Manningham looked to be doing individual drills today, at the very least.
