Lions' Calvin Johnson practices, Kevin Smith sits

Detroit Lions receiver Calvin Johnson practiced today and took reps with the No. 1 offense -- something he didn't do last week when he practiced. Johnson took part in all the individual drills and was running smoothly.

Johnson, who injured his right knee against the Pittsburgh Steelers, did not play in Detroit's previous two games.

Running back Kevin Smith, who left the St. Louis game with a left shoulder injury, did not practice today. His status for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks is unknown.
Smith injured his right shoulder earlier in the season but did not miss a game.
