Kelly: Sam Bradford will start when healthy

There will be no quarterback controversy -- at least for now.

Speaking on 94WIP the morning after his team's loss to the Miami Dolphins, Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said that when healthy, Sam Braford will keep his job as the starting quarterback.

"When Sam is healthy, he'll be our starting quarterback," Kelly said, via the Eagles' official website. "He's in the concussion protocol, so that's entirely up to – there's a whole system in the NFL with the independent that has to come, his symptoms have to go away and however that gets taken care of.

Bradford left the Eagles' loss to the Dolphins midway through the third quarter with both a concussion and a shoulder injury.

Speaking immediately after the game, Kelly did not mention the injury to Bradford's shoulder, and he didn't mention it Monday morning either.

X-rays taken during the game on Bradford's shoulder were negative, but a report Sunday night indicated that the quarterback had suffered a grade two AC sprain in his non-throwing shoulder.

Fantasy Impact:

Mark Sanchez took over against Miami, and as has been throughout his career, he was good at times and not so good other times. Expect much of the same if he has to play in Week 11 against Tampa Bay. Sanchez's mobility did allow the Eagles to play a more uptempo offense and Sanchez certainly has some QB2 fantasy potential if he starts Week 11.
