Jones says Cowboys receivers will be ready

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said the team finally should have all its WRs healthy and ready to open training camp in San Antonio at the end of next month.

Sam Hurd (ankle) and Miles Austin (hamstring) missed the team’s last set of OTAs — organized team activities — and the three-day mini-camp earlier this month. Isaiah Stanback suffered a torn lateral meniscus in his right knee during OTAs and underwent surgery May 21.

With Terrell Owens now playing in Buffalo, Hurd, Austin and Stanback are being counted on to produce behind Roy Williams and Patrick Crayton.

"My expectations are that all receivers that were limited, maybe not [Travis] Wilson [knee] — he might not be ready — but other than him, all the rest should be ready for training camp," Jones said.

That includes rookie Kevin Ogletree out of Virginia, who suffered a knee injury on the first day of mini-camp and did not participate in the final two days of workouts.
