Greg Jennings expected to play on Monday night

One day after returning from a groin injury and practicing in pads, Packers WR Greg Jennings made even more strides Saturday. He was listed as questionable on the Packers' injury report, but HC Mike McCarthy didn't hide the fact Jennings was all but a lock to play against Seattle on "Monday Night Football."

"Greg looked good today," McCarthy said after practice Saturday. "I thought he made a big jump from earlier in the week. Practiced well. His examination in the morning will be the key to whether he goes or not. But I thought he looked like himself today."

Jennings suffered a setback Tuesday when he tried to return too early, but after resting Wednesday and Thursday he was able to take part in some team drills Friday.

McCarthy said Saturday he was convinced Jennings was ready to handle whatever load he gave him.

"That was really part of him taking the full snaps today," McCarthy said. "Wanted to see him go through a full practice. He took them all. It didn't look to be an issue."

Fantasy Impact:

It looks like Jennings will play Monday night, but it's tough to depend on injured players heading into the final game of the week. Consider Jennings a WR2, but don't wait on him if you have good options available.
