Giants TE Larry Donnell (concussion) did not practice Wednesday. Donnell exited Week 4 with a concussion, so Will Tye may get the opportunity to play starter’s snaps against a shaky Green Bay pass defense. He caught four passes for 43 yards on six targets while playing 79% of the snaps (a season high) in Week 4, and that was against a tough Minnesota defense. Last year, Tye essentially took over as the Giants’ starter in Week 8, and was the #13 tight end in standard formats from that point on. From Week 9 to Week 17, he had the 10th-most targets at his position. The Giants didn’t have Sterling Shepard or Victor Cruz last year, but TE streamers could do a lot worse this week, assuming Donnell remains out.
