GB: RB Jackson (ankle) worse than thought

Other Packers injuries: The sprained left ankle that running back Brandon Jackson sustained against the Cardinals was worse than originally thought, meaning he’s unlikely to play on Thursday and could be unavailable for the regular-season opener.

Also, Will Blackmon’s quad contusion is “more serious than we initially thought, so he’s questionable to doubtful I would say for this week against Tennessee,” McCarthy said.

Defensive end Michael Montgomery will need a club-like cast on his broken left hand but is expected to play against the Titans.
