Running back Felix Jones didn't practice on Tuesday and his status for working with the rest of his Cowboys' teammates is uncertain for today.
Jones has a knee issue which is concerning for the Cowboys. He's played and practiced through numerous ailments during the season but with a short week there could be an issue about him playing Thanksgiving Day against the Washington Redskins.
If Jones doesn't play or is limited in what he can do, Lance Dunbar, who has moved up the depth chart with the absence of DeMarco Murray (foot), might get his first NFL start.
Phillip Tanner will also be in the mix, but Dunbar has been the primary backup to Jones, so he figures to get most of the work if Felix can't play.
