Eagles HC Reid wanted to know why Oakland linebacker Isaiah Ekejiuba wasn't flagged for a late hit on punt returner Desean Jackson late in the third quarter.
Ekejiuba chased Jackson out of bounds at the end of an 11-yard punt return, then appeared to hit the wide receiver about 5 yards out of bounds. Jackson injured his right leg on the play and could not participate in the Eagles' next offensive series, a three-and-out sequence in which they gained just 2 yards.
As soon as the play ended, Reid rushed to the officials to argue the call.
Jackson returned in time for the next punt and offensive series, but he said he felt Ekejiuba should have been flagged for a late hit.
"We just weren't getting calls today. We still should have [taken] care of business like we needed to," Jackson said.
Jackson, after managing just one catch for 1 yard against Tampa Bay, finished with six catches for 94 yards, including a diving 51-yard reception that set up the Eagles' first field goal.
