Running back DeMarco Murray won’t play Sunday at Carolina, team owner Jerry Jones said Tuesday morning on his weekly radio show on KRLD-FM 105.3.
Murray’s MRI showed ligament damage in his sprained left foot but didn’t show any broken bones. He will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis. Murray was hurt late in the second quarter. He ran the ball once in the third quarter to see if he could go, but the Cowboys decided to pull him from the game.
Felix Jones is a great option for this week if you already own him, or he's on your wire. It's very possible Jones will need to fill in for a few weeks depending on how fast Murray gets back, however, it's been reported that Murray is telling everyone he'll be back for Week 8. In Week 8, the Cowboys play the Giants.
