The Cowboys are hopeful RB DeMarco Murray can return this week against the New York Giants after suffering a sprained left foot against Baltimore.
Murray, who was in a protective boot and on crutches last week, will have more tests today. In the season-opening win against the Giants on Sept. 5, Murray ran for 131 yards on 20 carries.
Felix Jones got the start but got banged up before missing the final two drives with a knee injury. Phillip Tanner was pressed into action as a result. With a lot of questions in the Dallas backfield, we'll have to keep an eye on both Murray and Jones' statuses heading into Week 8.
