Colts optimistic T.Y. Hilton (knee) can play Week 2

Free agent TE CJ Uzomah, the former Bengals and Jets starter, is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Eagles. Uzomah, who flew to Philly today and passed his physical, should bolster their passing attack and give the offense an added weapon.

Uzomah dealt with injuries and was boxed out of a TE1 role by Tyler Conklin in New York, so we shouldn't expect him to impact fantasy this season. The veteran had an 80-target season with Cincinnati in 2021, but that has proven to be a blip on the radar.

The Browns and star RB Nick Chubb have agreed on a reworked contract for 2024 to lower his base of $11.775M, with a chance to earn it back in incentives.

Chubb is working his way back from a serious knee injury, but isn’t going anywhere.

We still haven't had any concrete timetable about Chubb's return, so there remains some doubt that he will be ready for Week 1. This makes considering the rest of the backfield a tricky situation in current best ball drafts. We should feel pretty confident that the team will not be looking for reinforcements through the NFL Draft, as they currently have six backs on their roster, including the recent additions of Hines and Foreman.

Cowboys begin their voluntary spring workout program one week from today. Barring a surprise departure from precedent, WR CeeDee Lamb won’t participate, as a potential holdout looms.

Gehlken continues, "Barring a contract extension that, when complete, is expected to make Lamb the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history, Lamb won’t take the field."

This is always a tricky path in fantasy, as we've seen holdouts last into the regular season, and that puts a question mark on his value in drafts. Lamb is the WR2 in current 4for4 Rankings, but missing time will obviously put a damper on that. We'll keep an eye on the situation throughout the offseason.
