The Colts have taken an unstructured approach to how RBs Trent Richardson and Ahmad Bradshaw are used, and that's yielding results.

"One guy starts breathing a little bit heavy and I look at him and he looks a little bit tired, I say, 'Hey, why don't we get (Bradshaw) in the game?' " coach Chuck Pagano said. "So Trent comes out, (Bradshaw) goes in, rips off a 10-yard gain, catches a touchdown pass. Trent goes in, runs a touchdown right on the goal line."

So far, there's been plenty of room for both to thrive.

"It takes care of itself," offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton said. "There are times where we have specific plays for Trent and then we have certain plays that we would prefer to have Ahmad run. But at the end of the day, we understand that when you run 82 plays in a game, you want to keep your guys fresh."

Fantasy Impact:

The committee situation makes both players flex plays most weeks. This week, even in a tough matchup, Bradshaw is ranked 22nd and Richardson 32nd in standard formats. Bradshaw, of course, has more value in a PPR league and gets a bump to 20th in our rankings. The Ravens are 2nd in allowing fantasy points to RBs so start either with caution this week.
