Buccaneers TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins arrested for DUI

Two days before the Bucs' home opener, tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins was arrested early Friday morning and remains in jail, charged with a misdemeanor count of driving under the influence.

Seferian-Jenkins was stopped by the Florida Highway Patrol at 3:42 a.m. Friday and was booked at the Orient Road Jail at 6 a.m., charged with DUI. He remained in jail at 9:30 Friday morning. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of violating a court-ordered Ignition Interlock Device restriction from a previous arrest for DUI in Washington in 2013.

According to the FHP, Seferian-Jenkins was driving at 75-80 mph in a 55 mph zone as he entered southbound I-275 near State Road 60. He made an improper lane change, cutting off an FHP trooper and "weaving back and forth."

Fantasy Impact:

It remains to be seen how the Buccaneers handle this situation, but this is the latest in a series of missteps by the talented yet boneheaded tight end. Cameron Brate would likely handle the bulk of the snaps if Seferian-Jenkins does not play on Sunday.
