Broncos Demaryius Thomas May Not Join Team Activities Until July

Denver Post - [Full Article]

Denver Broncos Rookie WR Demaryius Thomas' recovery has taken longer than hoped. When he first suffered the injury (broken foot), Thomas' agent, Todd France, told that "Demaryius will be 100 percent by the time OTA's [organized team activity] begin."

But when Broncos rookies gathered for their first camp in late April, Thomas said he didn't think he would be ready until June.

Regardless of Thomas' latest twitter reports, Broncos coach Josh McDaniels indicated training camp, which begins the final week of July, would be the target date for all his players recovering from foot injuries.

Fantasy Impact:

There is no sugar-coating this news. Wide Receivers in the NFL have one of the toughest learning curves. The Broncos have lofty expectations for Demaryius Thomas. This set-back will hinder his fantasy potential to start the 2010 season.
