The biggest health concern at Panthers OTAs was running back Jonathan Stewart, who missed all of OTAs and minicamp recovering from offseason surgery on both ankles.
GM Dave Gettleman would not speculate on whether Stewart would be ready for the start of training camp, saying: “We’ll see. Time will tell.”
DeAngelo Williams got plenty of reps this spring, as did fullback Mike Tolbert. We still rank Stewart 30th on our RB list and Williams 37th, so we still see a committee when both backs are healthy. If the Panthers move to less of a zone read attack, both backs could see a bump in value, but in a committee they will still be risky plays.
