Bennett back in mix at tight end

Tight end Martellus Bennett, a pronounced free spirit, said he "matured" while being forced to sit out the last two games because of concussion-like symptoms. Bennett's personal growth remains to be seen, but he did return to a role in the offense.

Bennett reclaimed his spot in two-tight end formations. He did not catch either of the two passes thrown to him but blocked well. Bennett may have been motivated by a pregame one-on-one sermon from tight ends coach John Garrett. He took Bennett aside before warm-ups for what appeared to be, from a distance, an animated discussion.
