Bears running back Garrett Wolfe, who was placed on injured reserve Nov. 20 with a lacerated kidney, will have surgery on his left shoulder Friday. The surgery will sideline him for four months.
"I hurt it my rookie year and it really never healed,'' the third-year player said. "I'd rather get it tied down than have it be a problem when I'm done playing ball, whenever that may be. It's not something that will go away, so I might as well get is taken care of now as opposed to later.''
