Aaron Rodgers to miss 'about 3 weeks'

More definitive scans today but initial tests showed small fracture in Packers QB Aaron Rodgers' collarbone that could sideline him about three weeks.

Fantasy Impact:

Rodgers non-throwing side appears to be the issue, but he's still expected to miss time. The target date based on the three-week timeline is Week 13, which is a Thursday game in Detroit on Thanksgiving, but that's an unofficial timetable. The Packers may not want to bring him back in a short week, so he may be out four games in that scenario. Seneca Wallace took over for Rodgers and it appears he'll at least play Week 10, a short week, against the Eagles, even though he wasn't impressive. (Keep in mind Matt Flynn will be available after he clears waivers at 4 p.m. Tuesday.) It's obviously another huge blow to the Packers' offense this season. Green Bay will likely continue to ride its running game with Eddie Lacy and James Starks, who looked great Monday night. But remember, it's also a downgrade for WRs Jordy Nelson, James Jones and Jarrett Boykin.
