FanDuel Week 8 Cash Game Breakdown

There are a few situations that lack clarity as of the time of this writing, but could provide additional flexibility in terms of how you construct your cash game lineups. Eli Manning's production has gone in the gutter with Odell Beckham nursing a hamstring injury, but Beckham practiced in fully on Wednesday. If he's 100 percent, Eli becomes a nice play against a Saints defense ranked dead last in QB aFPA at a salary that's $1,000 lower than it opened the season. Antonio Gates (knee) still isn't practicing, and if he can't go Ladarius Green ($5,300) makes for a nice cost-efficient option at TE against a Ravens defense that is strong on paper, but did spring leaks last week, allowing a 4-62 line to the previously invisible Jermaine Gresham.

QB Andy Dalton $8,100 @ PIT

In the midst of a career-best season, Dalton will face a Steelers defense allowing 293 passing yards per game, fifth-most in the NFL. The Steelers defensive strength lies in stopping the run -- they've allowing the sixth fewest rushing yards per game in the league -- so Cincinnati’s game plan will likely revolve around its potent aerial attack. Dalton is the FanDuel QB2 on the year and his price has not quite caught up to that level of production. What makes Dalton particularly enticing is that he's produced well even in tough matchups, putting up three TDs in each of his three games against top-10 defenses in QB aFPA (Chargers, Seahawks, Bills). The Steelers rank 17th in QB aFPA.
