UPDATE: Tre Mason ($3,000 @ SF) will start for Todd Gurley and becomes the top value at RB. He can be used in place of Frank Gore, and leftover salary can be used to upgrade to Devonta Freeman ($7,600 vs. NO) at RB1 and the Panthers ($3,600 @ TB) at DST.

As TJ Hernandez and I discussed on this week's DFS MVP Podcast, you probably want to limit your cash game exposure in Week 17, as crazy things have been known to happen. That being said, the Redskins are the only playoff team likely to rest starters, as most seeding is up in the air. I've built cash game lineups according to normal process; I didn't avoid payers from the Falcons-Saints or Giants-Eagles games even though they have no playoff implications. Vegas has installed both games with over/unders above 50, meaning they think it is unlikely for anything to be drastically different. If you prefer to take less risk and only use players from games with playoff implications, be sure to check out Josh Moore's article on who is motivated in Week 17. You can then head over to our Lineup Generator and eliminate the games of your choosing from the player pool.

QB Eli Manning $5,600 vs. PHI

Manning will close the season against the Eagles, who rank 31st in QB aFPA. Over their last six games, the Eagles have allowed 300 passing yards and 3.2 passing TDs per game. In Manning’s last six games with Odell Beckham Jr., he is averaging 296 passing yards and 2.5 passing TDs per game. The Giants’ team total is over 27 and Manning has accounted for 89% of their offensive TDs this season.
