DraftKings Week 12 Cash Game Breakdown + Thanksgiving Slate

Thanksgiving Slate

Given the popularity of the Thanksgiving slate, I decided to use our Lineup Generator to find the optimal Thanksgiving slate lineup according to our projections:

I agree with our algorithms here. This lineups allows you to get in all of the day's best plays. Cam Newton is the QB3 on DraftKings this season. DeMarco Murray, Jonathan Stewart, and Darren McFadden have all averaged more than 20 touches per game over the last month. Calvin Johnson faces an Eagles defense ranked dead last in WR aFPA. Randall Cobb will match up against Bears rookie slot corner Bryce Callahan, who PFF has graded out as a replacement-level player thus far. The guys I would not touch in cash are Dez Bryant in a tough matchup against Josh Norman, and Eddie Lacy coming off only one good game.

Sunday-Monday Slate

With a ton of value at QB (as usual) and RB, the best course of action is to lock in all the RB value by using a third RB in the flex (which should almost always be your strategy in cash games). Let's get into the plays.

QB Brian Hoyer $5,000 vs. NO

In his return from a concussion, Hoyer finds himself in a dream matchup against a Saints defense that has allowed nine of the ten QBs they have faced to score 19 or more DraftKings points. New Orleans has allowed multiple passing TDs in eight of ten games and 300 yards passing in seven of ten games. The Texans average 20.8 points per game on the season, but Vegas has set the Texans team total all the way up at 26 points. Hoyer has already proven he can put up good fantasy numbers this season: he threw for three TDs twice and multiple TDs in five of seven appearances.
