Thinking Inside the Box: Week 5

Every Monday, Senior Editor John Paulsen takes to Twitter (@4for4_John) for Thinking Inside the Box, where he tweets different stats and tidbits from Sunday's box scores. We compile it here for subscribers.

Let’s start with NE/CIN, which I missed since I went to see the @KingsOfLeon. Looking forward to watching some Gronk on NFL Rewind.

Gronk posted 6-100-1 (11) and played 78% of the snaps. Previous season high was 62% in Week 4. Full practices all week.

Glad to see Tim Wright break out for 5-85-1 (5) after I cut him in two leagues last week. Only played 22% of the snaps though.

NE backfield was predictably unpredictable. Ridley (27 carries, 113 yds, TD) led the way with Vereen (12 touches, 108 yds) chipping in.

Only two carries for Jeremy Hill, but he chipped in with 68 yards on three catches.

Mohamed Sanu 5-70-1 (9) led the team in targets and is the #24 WR even with his W4 bye. Marvin Jones’ return (ankle) is looming.
