It was the week that tight ends disappeared. Just 8 tight ends scored double digit PPR fantasy points in Week 11. Since the beginning of 2011, there have only been 5 instances in which 8 or fewer tight ends scored at least 10 PPR fantasy points. Going into Monday Night, JJ Watt was a TE1 (Props to you by the way if you bet on Watt to have more fantasy points than Tyler Eifert going into Week 12). If your tight end streamer didn’t work out this week, you likely didn’t lose much of an advantage.

Minnesota never explicitly stated that Kyle Rudolph would start, so that left us with 3 TEBWW candidates in 11. Mychal Rivera posted 7.0 PPR FP, only 0.7 FP shy of a TE1 finish. Jared Cook posted a measly 4.9 PPR FP and Austin Seferian-Jenkins was an afterthought in the Week 11 Mike Evans lovefest and scored 1.7 PPR FP.

For the season, our TEBWW picks are averaging 8.2 PPR FP per game, which equates to the overall TE14, while our optimal picks have put up 13.8 PPR points per contest, which extrapolates to the overall TE5 on the year.

Recall that for tight ends to be considered streaming options, they must be available in at least 40% of Yahoo leagues.

Here are the top TEBWW options for Week 12:

Coby Fleener vs Jacksonville

Dwayne Allen sprained his ankle on Sunday night and the possibility that Allen misses multiple games makes Fleener the clear top tight end streaming option, if not the top overall waiver wire add this week. With Allen out for most of the game against the Patriots, Fleener caught all 7 of his targets for 144 yards.

Few teams implement the tight end into their offensive game plan as much as the Colts do. Indianapolis tight ends have seen 102 targets this season, the 4th most in the league, and the second most targets inside the opponent's 10 yard line, with 13. The Jaguars are a middle of the pack defense against tight ends, allowing 12 schedule adjusted PPR point per game. Coby Fleener is owned in just 41% of Yahoo leagues.
